Inside the Black Box
Raising the standards of learning that are achieved through school education is an important national priority. In this paper, Paul Black and Dylan Wiliam focus on formative assessment, arguing that it is at the heart of effective teaching and that there is evidence that it can provide a direction for change which could improve standards of learning.
