Curriculum Innovation & Creativity

The curriculum innovation and creativity research theme supports and develops research within the Faculty. Its focus and work brings together colleagues with an active research interest in the following fields of academic enquiry:

  • Pedagogy and learning
  • Creativity and innovation
  • Curriculum structure and development
  • Subject expertise
  • Multi-disciplinary work
  • Values and citizenship

Building upon the longstanding strengths of research work in these areas across the Faculty, the theme draws on an inclusive understanding of research and scholarship.  The theme promotes academic work, particularly that which leads to publication, through a range of research and scholarship activities, including regular meetings, mentoring, and seminars.

The theme is led by Dr Andrew Peterson.
