Research Strategy
The Faculty of Education has a new Research Strategy| which builds on the success of Education's submission to the Research Assessment Exercise| in 2008. Our position in the rankings improved considerably from around 50th to 27th place nationally, one of the most significant advances for a new (post 1992) university. This is part of a progressive upward trend as increasing numbers of staff across the Faculty engage in high quality publication and research. Fundamental to the strategy is the long-term goal of creating an inclusive research culture that values the contributions of individuals at all stages of the research experience.
