Background
The TTRB is a website providing access to the knowledge base that informs teaching and teacher education. The site contains a wealth of expert knowledge and materials relevant to teacher education and training including research, policy and guidance alongside multi-media materials and documents. All of these are subjected to a peer moderated evidence-informed review by experts in education and teacher education. These are then classified according to a number of schemas to enable quick and easy access.
Since its launch in 2006, the site has developed into a key resource for teachers at any stage of their career due to quality assurance of the resources. Independent evaluation shows that over 5000 pages are viewed on the site every day
The site brings together the work undertaken on a wide range of research and development projects.
