Race Equality Policy

Canterbury Christ Church University is committed to promoting equality of opportunity and good relations between people of different racial groups in all areas of University life. It will seek to eliminate discrimination and to promote an inclusive ethos whereby individuals will have equal access to learning, teaching, assessment and support and employment opportunities and other services and facilities provided by the University and partner institutions.

The University is committed to treating all employees and students with dignity and will seek to create a learning and working environment free from racial discrimination, harassment and victimisation. Racial harassment will not be tolerated and any incident of racial harassment which is substantiated through due process will lead to disciplinary action being taken, with the possibility of dismissal of staff or expulsion of students from the University.
