You'll join a friendly community of almost 19,000 staff and students
The School of Teacher Education Development brings together five main teams, covering initial and continuing teacher development
We work together to provide a coherent, values-led approach to the education of teachers, schools, colleges and nurseries at all stages of development. Through the Canterbury Programme, we can find a starting point for you that will enable you or your organisation to benefit from the enthusiasm, expertise and passion for learning that our staff possess and engender in others.
We are driven by a wish to improve the life chances of all children and young people, whatever their starting point.
We work closely with colleagues in the School of Childhood and Education Sciences to contribute to the academic and professional development of all our students and partners, providing opportunities to engage with expertise and develop skills in research and professional enquiry.
