Recognition enables individuals to undertake small scale learning projects and to take initial steps in practitioner enquiry.
Individuals can take up to two Recognition projects; successful completion of a project confers Associate Membership of the Teaching and Learning Academy and the designation of AMTLA.
TLA Recognition 1 is designed for individuals who want to explore an area of interest, need, enhancement or development such as a new strategy or new initiative, over a relatively short period of time – from a few weeks to a term. On successful completion of a Recognition Project, a TLA Certificate of Recognition will be awarded and individuals will become Associate Members of the TLA (AMTLA).
LA Recognition 2 is designed for individuals who want to undertake a more sustained investigation based on need, enhancement or development, over one or two terms.
