Aims
-
to collect, analyse, interpret and share evidence (from research, inspection, or from practitioners' own experience or knowledge-creation) about how educators and educational agencies develop;
-
to foster within the context of school leadership and development a common understanding of how individuals, groups, the organisation, the community and culture all interact upon the learning of all involved, and how this learning may be promoted;
-
to undertake evaluations in educational settings, and to support individuals and organisations seeking to enquire into and evaluate their own practice, to build capacity for sustained development, and to manage necessary change arising from such enquiry;
-
to explore and respect both processes and outcomes in all aspects of CELSI's educational work;
-
to offer training and other forms of consultancy support to those in leadership roles in schools and other educational institutions;
-
to contribute, in co-operation with others in the Faculty and elsewhere in the College, to the development of a community of enquiry and learning through national and international networks, seminars, publications and conferences.
