A big welcome from all on the Chaplaincy Team

Located at the very heart of the university, both architecturally and metaphorically the Chapel dominates the sky line and reminds all who cross the threshold that this is a holistic place of learning combining body, mind and spirit. The Chapel is open to all and offers a whole host of activities and services throughout the year, for more details check out the Chapel notice boards!
The Chapel doors open each week day at 8.30am and a service of Holy Communion is held every Thursday at 6pm followed by supper!! Additionally there are Quiet Rooms, for prayer and contemplation, available at each campus for peoples’ private use, irrespective of their religious beliefs.
The Chaplaincy team is made up of people from all walks of life and is always ready and willing to see members of the University about any matter. They offer a confidential listening service and are here to help. Most have offices in the Chaplaincy Centre on the Canterbury Campus (close to North Holmes Road Gate 5) but are available to all students, irrespective of location.
The Chaplaincy Centre
Situated on the Canterbury Campus, close to gate 5 on North Holmes Road, this
houses both a Common Room and Library (with tea and coffee making facilities)
and a Quiet Room. It is also set in a restful garden. All members of the
University are most welcome to make use of it.
