Business Administration (Executive)
Level:
MBA
Duration:
Two years part-time (January 2010 start)
Introduction
The Executive MBA programme is specifically designed to suit current working middle / senior managers in strategic decision-making roles, who want to enhance their career prospects and develop their strategic skills.
Content and Structure
All our students are current working managers, often facing the time constraints that family and working life make on learning and development. With this in mind we've tried to make the course as efficient as possible, and draw on students' valuable experience to try and ensure that course learning has an immediate impact. The mix of business and academic experience of our lecturers is of particular relevance in achieving this.
We place particular emphasis during the course on:
- immediate contribution to the workplace
- interaction and peer-learning
- maintaining momentum through our virtual learning environment
- applicability across both public, private and third sectors
Students undertake 4 core modules of 20 credits each, 6 selected additional modules of 10 credits each, and a Dissertation (40 credits).
