Since September 2007 Canterbury Christ Church University has offered the PGCE Maths and Science (11-18) full-time courses in Essex.

Teaching is undertaken at Southend with school placements across
Essex.
There is
a financial package of up to £12,700 (non repayable) for some students plus
'Golden Hello's' of up to £5,000 when you start teaching.
For international students the fee will be in the region of £8,000 and there
is no government or University financial support for international fee-payers.
This course is not suitable for overseas qualified teachers.
