Knowledge transfer strategy
As an outward looking University with a strong community identity, Canterbury Christ Church University is committed to engagement with business, public services and the voluntary sector with the object of a mutual transfer of knowledge and experience to inform sustainable economic development and to enhance the quality of life. This commitment is reflected in our Strategic Plan 2006 -10 which has a specific Priority (5) relating to Knowledge Transfer. In support of this objective the University has produced a Knowledge Transfer strategy.

Consultancy Policy
Canterbury Christ Church University values the consultancy work undertaken by staff. Consultancy forms a necessary and important part of knowledge transfer as it functions to encourage close relationships between the University and business, the public services, the voluntary and not-for-profit sector and wider community. Consultancy and the effective management of the University Intellectual Property (IP) can bring benefits to the University, Faculties, Departments, staff and wider public. Through its consultancy policy and practices, the University will offer an efficient and effective service to the community based on the excellence of its educational and research provision.
