Full Profile
Nicky lectures in accounting and finance and also in retailing and she is Programme Director for the Business Studies programme. Prior to joining the Business School Nicky spent 15 years in business in the pub retailing and brewing industry. Her career included a variety of roles for national and regional companies latterly responsible for the Managed House department for Shepherd Neame, Britain's oldest brewer based in Kent.
She joined the University in 2005 and her research interests are centred on the relationship between businesses and Business Schools and whether or not there is a misunderstanding within the wider business community about what Business Schools can offer.
She is also currently researching whether or not 'end of year' examinations are a valid form of assessment.
