Biography
Judith has a Diploma in Management Science, MSc Business Administration, Certificate in Education and is currently studying for a Doctorate in Education.
Judith's background is as a hands-on manager in the Hospitality Industry and whilst with the Hotel and Restaurant Trade Association, she worked with small businesses in the industry.
Her role in the Business School is now as Entrepreneurship subject leader, developing future teaching provision in this area and, increasingly across the University. Judith was awarded an NCGE Entrepreneurship Educator Fellow in June 08 and more widely is involved with the UK-China Enterprise Educators Network. She is also a regular visiting lecturer at ISCID, France.
Teaching and Academic Interests
Judith now lectures primarily in the area of Entrepreneurship, Enterprise and Innovation. However, she also has significant teaching experience in the area of HRM, leadership and management.
Judith's major research interests include the development of Entrepreneurship Education in the Higher Education Sector and the development and dissemination of best practice. Her current work in progress includes an evaluation of the student experience of entrepreneurship activity and programmes in HE and the impacts of Education policy on this provision in the next few years.
