Federico Iannacci

Biography

Federico has a PhD from the London School of Economics (LSE), an MSc from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and a Laurea from the University of Siena. He has a background in economics, management and strategy as he has worked as an independent consultant for a number of companies both in the UK and the US.

Whilst completing his MSc at the NJIT, Federico worked alongside several SMEs to help them develop their Internet strategy and enhance their competitiveness. He subsequently helped the TWIST Standards network develop an open source strategy for the development of new data standards. More recently Federico has worked as an independent consultant within DG Employment in the European Commission to design, develop and implement a strategic framework for the evaluation of their monitoring systems.

He has recently joined the Business School after spending a short spell in the University of Wales, Lampeter, BPP Business School and the London School of Economics.

Teaching and Academic Interests

Federico teaches Information Management and Information & Analytical Skills.

He is very interested in the area of e-Government especially the design, development, use and implementation of large-scale information & communication technologies (ICTs) within the public sector.
