The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation
The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, otherwise known as CEI, is an initiative of the Canterbury Christ Church University Business School that brings together Higher Education, Government and the Business Community as active collaborative partners in search of entrepreneurship and innovation in Kent. CEI is a recognisable Centre in the region that fosters entrepreneurship and innovation, acts as a catalyst for the development of entrepreneurial skills and attitudes, and provides a platform for collaboration between relevant stakeholders.
The Centre was launched internally on 8 November 2011 with a master class on open innovation by Professor Geert Duysters, scientific director of the Brabant Centre of Entrepreneurship in the Netherlands, and visiting professor in entrepreneurship at CCCU.
Mission
The mission of CEI is to promote entrepreneurship and innovation education, and to provide a platform for research and knowledge exchange in support of business and economic development.
Activities
CEI organises a range of activities in support of its mission, including:

business engagement activities, providing support to local and regional companies
