What Makes Broadstairs Special

A warm, welcoming and friendly learning community

You’ll feel at home in Broadstairs.  All kinds of people come to study here – some straight from school or college, others from working life. As a student, you’ll join a close-knit campus community where you’ll have the chance to connect and work closely with your fellow students as well as with academic and professional support staff.

Education for the real world

Whatever your chosen subject, all our courses are designed to give you top-notch knowledge and skills to give you a head start in your professional career. As well as work-related study, you’ll have the opportunity to become one of our paid Student Ambassadors and to register for part-time employment through Unitemps, the University’s recruitment service for students, graduates and the community. You’ll also have the opportunity to make new friends and build networks through taking part in a range of study related activities.

City to coast

When you’re not immersed in your studies, you can get involved in a whole range of different activities in and around the three seaside towns of Broadstairs, Margate and Ramsgate.  The area is renowned for its sandy beaches, its rich cultural scene and lively arts and music venues, and there are bars and restaurants to suit every taste.  This is the furthest you can go in south-east England (almost touching mainland Europe) and yet Canterbury is only 20 miles away and central London is just 75 minutes away by train.

"I chose to study at the Broadstairs Campus because I felt welcome here and liked the way the staff interacted with the students. Because Broadstairs is a smaller campus, I knew that students would get the help they need."
