Broadstairs Campus offers a close-knit campus community on the Kent coast.
Since it opened in 2000, mainly as a campus for local people, there have been a number of significant changes at our other campuses, including plans to invest £150m in new buildings and social learning spaces in Canterbury.
Over recent years, we have found that most students who live locally now choose to study in Canterbury, with the range of city centre and University facilities it offers. The number of students choosing to study at Broadstairs is also falling.
The University is therefore discontinuing student recruitment to the campus in 2018, so 2017 will the last year we accept new students.
Many of the courses we offer at Broadstairs are also offered in Canterbury. Please explore our online prospectus for details of our wide range of courses and opportunities.
We will be working very closely with our students and staff to transfer our courses over the next few years, and we will ensure that students currently studying at our Broadstairs Campus will still experience great teaching and support.
