The Welte Organ
A Royal Academy of Music CD is available from the Bookshop featuring
78 minutes of music performed on the Salomons world-famous
Welte Organ, recently restored. Sir David wrote of the
organ in 1923: "This is a remarkable instrument containing many
thousands of valves and pipes, and it took many years to bring it to
its present perfection. Only one manufacturer can produce such an
organ, and the makers say that the complication is such that a
similar one can never be attempted."
Priced at only £4.99 - all proceeds go to its further upkeep and
maintenance. To order your copy please contact the Bookshop, or
reserve online
