10% Discount Throughout the Year
Since 1999 we have given 10% discount to all our customers throughout the year. Not just in September or the start of term or for that special 'promotion' evening. We believe in everyday low prices not just for your recommended textbooks at the start of your course, but for the books you come to need throughout your studies. For the seminar in January, for books to help you revise, or for that final dissertation.
And beyond - we continue to sell books to graduates and
postgraduates in their work or research. Many teachers, for example,
visit the Bookshop during half term or over the summer holidays to
browse our education titles. Don't forget, we can always post your
order if you find it difficult to pop in.
We can also price-check before purchase, and check the University
Library catalogue for you.
The 10% discount covers almost all titles purchased, and ordered through the Bookshop. It is automatically given at the point of purchase. You don't need to remember your ID Card or an NUS card or any other card! We do that for you. We will also point out the few books where there is no discount. This is mainly on books published by very small publishers or charitable organisations - where their main focus is not on book publishing but on highlighting their area of interest.
And the money you spend in the Bookshop is then re-invested back in the University.
We also run specially-discounted promotions and offers in store. These often include good deals on books other than textbooks. We'll do our best to mention these online.
