Reading Series 2013-14: Simon Brett
Wednesday 4th December 2013
Following readings by Matt Thorne and Esther Freud we're looking forward to meeting Simon Brett. Same venue - the Sidney Cooper Gallery - which opens at 5.30pm with wine and refreshments. The reading begins at 6pm. Don't miss a wonderful opportunity to listen and pose questions to our leading contemporary writers.
Simon Brett is author of the Blotto & Twinks series of crime novels. Simon’s thriller, A Shock to the System, was made into a feature film starring Michael Caine. Simon has also written a lot for radio and television, notably the series After Henry, No Commitments, Smelling of Roses and Dear Diary. He has been Chair of the Society of Authors and is currently President of the Detection Club.
