Writing Comes AliveNow in it's sixth year, this series of public readings celebrates and encourages creativity in writing. Each event is held at the Sidney Cooper Gallery in St Peter's Street 6.30pm - 7.30pm. Enjoy the Gallery's current exhibition with a glass of wine, before the reading begins.

Don't miss a wonderful opportunity to listen and pose questions to our leading contemporary writers. Our next author is Peter Benson on Wednesday 19th November. We have a limited number of signed copies of Lawrence Norfolk's John Saturnall's Feast

Vending Machine at AHFollowing requests from library users, a vending machine is now located in Augustine House. It is just past the Reception area. The machine vends an essential selection of basic stationery and digital media items. We've added value-packs to keep costs as low as possible. 

A far wider selection of stationery is available from the bookshop. We also stock stamps, greeting cards as well as a wide range of basic stationery requirements such as memory sticks; and university-branded clothing, all fair-trade, and with sweatshirts from only 18.99.
