Carolyn W. de la L. Oulton is a Reader in Victorian Literature, with particular interests in romantic friendship, women's writing and biography. She is interested in supervising research topics in nineteenth-century literature, including: Mary Cholmondeley and New Woman fiction, Dickens and the New Humour. She is currently completing a biography of Jerome K. Jerome.
