Ceramics/Sculpture Dual Honours, Year 1
"As a first year student the course is quite structured and mainly project led.
However, within these parameters I can explore my own creative concerns which seem to link the
areas in which I am working. In ceramics I am exploring form and surface using the
vessel as my starting point.
In sculpture I am exploring the issues of interior and exterior space."
The Department
"The main strengths of the Department lie in its strong teaching ethos which gives the student a good grounding in practical and theoretical issues. We also have a good number of visiting lecturers, eg Gill Crowley, Carolyn Genders, Allison Britton and Robin Welch who have been very interesting and enlightening."
After College
"I hope to gain enough skills and knowledge to express my ideas fully and make my living by selling my work."
