The Department of Art at Canterbury Christ Church University currently offers two studio-based undergraduate programmes (one in Canterbury and the other in Folkestone), and one Post-graduate MA programme (in Canterbury). All programmes may be undertaken in full-time or part-time mode. At Canterbury, students can elect for an undergraduate Combined Honours degree (i.e. Art plus another subject).

Important: New programme developments
At the time of going to press, the University is continuing to develop its provision at the University Centre Folkestone (UCF) in order to provide a wider choice of art and design disciplines. In particular, we intend to introduce undergraduate programmes in Design, Image and Communication, Design for Events and Visual and Performing Arts (working titles) which will be available from September 2009.
These programmes will allow students to gain advanced practical skills and assignment opportunities will include illustration, graphic communication and theatre design.
