Academic programme

As part of the British Studies Programme, there are two-tailor made courses:

• Sites and Sights: Exploring Britain’s History and Culture
• Divided by a Common Language: Culture, and Society in Britain and the USA

Both of the British Studies programme courses are at 200 Level. They are designed to complement each other, and allow you to gain an extensive and intensive critical knowledge and understanding of Britain.  Please check with your advisor before making any course options, as some partner institutions will require you to take one or two of the recommended courses.

In addition, there are a wide range of courses at Canterbury Christ Church University that will be open to you, so you can choose based on your major, the requirements of your home institution, or just something that sounds interesting! (Some courses will have prerequisites).
