Event Details

The restoration and conservation of stained glass has a long history in Canterbury, stretching back well into the 18th century.  Throughout that time there have been examples of the good, the bad, and the ugly, and the lessons learnt from all of those are equally important.  The talk will look at how our approaches to preserving the ancient glass have changed over time, and how modern and traditional techniques and materials are helping the Cathedral’s conservators with their task.
