In the Research Excellence Framework 2014, 84% of our research was internationally recognised overall, with 19.4% of our outputs rated as world-leading.
Topics include composition, historical musicology (principally in the baroque and classical eras and in theory, analysis and aesthetics - including a strong emphasis on twentieth and twenty first century art and popular repertoires), and performance.
