Under the Surface

Amanda Brent studied animation at Canterbury Christ Church University from 2008 until 2011, graduating with First Class Honours in January 2012. Her graduate film 'Under The Surface' was nominated for a number of awards at film festivals, including the International Student Film Festival in London and the N4YP International Animation Festival in Berlin, and gained nods for Best Film, Best Sound, as well as earning her a nomination for Best British Up-And-Coming Animation Talent at Canterbury Anifest 2011.

Amanda says:

"Since graduating I have worked as a freelancer on a number of independent film and digital/web productions as an animator, storyboard artist and graphic designer, and on a variety of corporate projects for clients such as Vodafone, The Prudential, and De Beers. In the summer of 2012, I also taught animation and photography at the Discovery Summer International School, based in Winchester College."
