The Centre for Research on Communities and Cultures is hosting this one-day conference on Postmemory Analysis. As the number of survivors of events such as the Holocaust, the Spanish Civil War, the partition of Ireland, or the Second World War, becomes more limited, the media and other cultural productions have acquired a more significant role in the representation and dissemination of messages about these contentious pasts. The conference will be held in Powell building.
