Revisit the Past Before the Blast - Celebration of the Histories of Davidson, Lang and Temple Halls of Residence

Canterbury Christ Church University
Saturday 9 (14:30) - Sunday 10 June 2018 (12:00)

Were you a resident in Davidson, Lang or Temple Halls of Residence?

As the University progresses its Estates Master Plan, it’s time for us to say goodbye to these buildings, which have been such a significant part of the life of Christ Church since it first opened.

Davidson, Lang and Temple will be demolished this summer, so we’d like to invite you to have one last opportunity to see, or even stay, in your old room before it goes.

  • Meet up with old friends
  • Tour the site of the new campus development.
  • Share your memories with the University’s official archivist.
  • Take part in the Great DLT auction: buy up historic materials from the building before they are lost forever.
  • Rock through the evening with the University’s Big Band
  • Make it a late one at St George’s Bar and Barista (drinks at student prices!).

Cost per person

  • Residential - £48 per head. Includes single occupancy of a room, a light evening meal plus drink and a tour of the Prison site.
  • Non-residential - £18 per head. Includes a light evening meal plus drink and a tour of the Prison site.
