Business School
Come along to the launch of the new Faculty of Business and Management

The dynamic new Faculty of Business and Management is a result of the merger of the Business School at Canterbury and Broadstairs, and the Centre for Leadership and Management Development.

The official launch of the Faculty takes place on 19 November and all alumni from the old Business School are invited to come along. It’s a great chance to meet old friends and new and do some great networking.

If you haven’t already been contacted by telephone, just come along at 6pm to Old Sessions House, Longport, Canterbury, to hear all the latest news.

The Faculty has also set up an online social network for its alumni, staff and students. Members can upload photos and videos, take part in discussions, find people, organise events and invite others to join and generally let everyone else know what you’re doing. It's a great way to keep in contact with the Faculty and network with other alumni. If you are interested, please join at http://cccubam.ning.com/. Nesting-Andy Baldwin

Nesting – Andy Baldwin

Sidney Cooper Gallery
14 November-12 December

Kent artist Andy Baldwin enters into the debate of the mechanics of space in his installation of moving images. He is drawn to the concept of ‘home’, and the character we project onto our own personal space. Baldwin playfully orchestrates a series of moving images of houses. These exteriors which denote shelter, warmth and privacy form a viewing system, which unfolds the identity of each home, whilst maintaining the boundary of the private threshold and the world within.

Andy Tuohy

Sidney Cooper Gallery
14 November-12 December

Andy Tuohy has been inspired by Canterbury's unique architecture to create images of the city which take their stylistic cues from 1930's and 40's railway and tourism posters. Of the exhibition, Andy says: "This is a wonderful opportunity for me to explore Canterbury and make exciting work around this beautiful and historic part of the country."
