Equality and Diversity Network
What is it?
It is an internal network intended to provide an informal forum for staff and students to discuss issues of equality. People attending the network meetings are given the opportunity to freely air their views and concerns in a relaxed setting. The meetings discuss issues of equality of opportunity. There is no fixed agenda, so anybody can suggest topics for debate. Important points raised are fed back to the Equality and Diversity Committee, which is responsible for monitoring implementation of the Equal Opportunities policy.
