Promoting Equality of Opportunity and Diversity

The Council is made up of members from different major Faith groups and has Anglican, Buddhist, Catholic, Hindu, Jewish and Muslim faith representatives.  These representatives aim to meet at least once a term, to discuss the needs and issues relating to Religion and Belief within the University.

The Inter Faith Council members are academic and professional staff at the University and friends of the University.

Events

Each year in November, there is a National Inter Faith Week. In November 2011 the Inter Faith Council organised a
"Day of Faith", and another successful event in February 2013.
