Who are we?
The University Chaplaincy aims to offer a wide range of services and events in order to support people from a variety of backgrounds.
The Chapel community is a diverse group of students and staff and is supported by Jeremy Law (Dean of Chapel / Chaplain; Canterbury, Broadstairs & Tunbridge wells), David Stroud (Chaplain; Canterbury, Medway and Augustine House), and Stephen Bould (Chaplain; Folkestone campus)
Whether your choice of subject brings you to Canterbury or to one of our other campuses in Medway, Thanet or Tunbridge Wells, the University Chaplaincy is here to serve everyone, of all faiths and none.
All our activities are equally open to students and staff.
Our activities include
- Pastoral care and welcome Worship and prayer in the chapel
- Teaching about the Christian faith
- A listening service in confidence and prayer for individuals on personal matters
- Support to those seeking a local church or faith community
- Termly retreats
- Summer Pilgrimage
- Encouraging charity and voluntary work
