Teaching Fellowship Awards (previously Teaching Excellence Award)
Annually, we award up to four Teaching Fellowship Awards. The staff to whom we made our Teaching Fellowship Awards have demonstrated that they support innovation and articulate aspects of learning and teaching strategies within their department, Faculty and across the institution. In some cases they work more widely contributing to national initiatives such as the HE Academy or support for other networks supporting teaching within their discipline.
Recognition through our Teaching Fellowship Award offers a modest bursary (£750) and can contribute to meeting the criteria for promotion. Selection for our Teaching Fellowship Award is a pre-requisite of being a University nominee for the National Teaching Fellowship Scheme.
-
A panel will make the selections for our nominations based on the National NTFS Criteria.
-
Selected nominees to go forward to the NTFS will subsequently be assisted to prepare a claim for Fellowship.
Eligible staff are invited to present a claim for consideration for the CCCU Teaching Fellowship Award. All applications will be treated in strict confidence at this stage.
