IT Trainer for Salomons and Medway Campus
Sarah Ingle joined the unit as an IT Trainer in August 2000 following the merger of CCCU with the College of Guidance Studies. Her background is IT support and training in a variety of educational establishments. She has also worked for the Open University, tutoring an on-line computer course, so gaining experience of virtual learning and teaching. She is a member of the Higher Education Academy.
She is based at Salomons, carrying out most of the IT training there, including ICT inductions for new staff, the Salomons programme of staff IT training, and support for the development of e-learning. She also holds regular workshops for staff working on their ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) at Salomons. Sarah is also involved in staff training at Medway, visiting on a monthly basis for ICT inductions, ECDL workshops and IT training courses.
Sarah is a writer and has had a number of poems and articles published. In her spare time she enjoys bird, butterfly and dragonfly watching, and being out in the countryside. She is also involved in spiritual direction.
