Learning Technologists

The Faculty Learning Technology Team supports the University and faculties in delivering the aims of the Learning and Teaching and Information Strategies.  We work in partnership with staff in the faculties raising awareness of learning technologies; advising on their strategic use and evaluation; empowering staff to use technologies and advising on the pedagogic implications of using technology in learning and teaching.

The services of the team cannot be delivered in isolation,  all our work is through collaboration, with the faculties, with each other, with other units in the LTEU and with other University support units, most notably Computing Services, CIS, the Library, Quality and Planning and the Student Study Support Unit.

The team work on the basis of each technologist supporting a faculty, however team members are also responsible for leading on different institutional level projects.
