CLIC-Learn - the University Virtual Learning Environment
CLIC Learn is the chosen Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) for the University. Like all other Higher Education Institutions the University are using it within an increasing number of courses/modules to support learning and teaching.
CLIC Learn for Instructors (2.5 hours)
Course Aim
To give you an overview of the main tools in CLIC Learn to enable you begin working as an instructor on the system.
Content

Use the CLIC Learn home tab to see an overview of activity across all your courses

Navigate to a given CLIC learn course and use the course menu to locate specific content areas

Implement changes to a course menu, including changing the order of the menu and adding a new content area

Create an announcement with a course link and describe when it would be appropriate to use the email facility from announcements.

Use the appropriate CLIC learn tools to add a folder to a content area, create content to include a multi-media object, and attach a document to an item of content

Check if a user is attached to a course, and if not add them as either an instructor or a student

Create a group in a course and add listed users; create a group which could be used as a sign up sheet

Create a staff contact profile using the appropriate tool
