We believe learning should be directed towards helping students achieve their goals.

We have a real focus on employability and strong industry contacts. We are proud to say that 94% * of our graduates go on to employment within six months - and employers are always on the lookout for fresh graduate talent.

A major investment in learning facilities means you can enjoy access to the best in modern facilities. Some of our highlights include:

  • Award-winning student centre and library - built in 2010, Augustine House is our multi-million pound development, with modern learning spaces and a new library; Wi-Fi throughout, and a free laptop loaning service for all our students.
  • Brand new sports centre - The Christ Church Sports Centre was opened in 2010 by double Olympic gold medallist Dame Kelly Holmes. As well as boasting top-rate performance analysis and research facilities for sports students, it is a designated Olympic training facility. For sports enthusiasts, or those interested in keeping fit, it has a state-of-the-art gym and sports hall.
  • IT and library facilities at every campus - access to electronic publications and journals and over 335,000 books to support your studies.
  • iBorrow - Augustine House's self-service laptop loan scheme, winner of The Times Higher Education Leadership and Management Award.
  • StudentNET portal – every student has access to this one-stop-shop portal throughout their time at Christ Church. Launched in 2009, the site is fully personalised and provides access to the university's services, latest news and information.
  • Brand new bookshop - our newly-refurbished bookshop has more than 30,000 general and academic titles in stock, and can order any title currently in print, many of which are ready for next day collection. 10% discount is automatically given on almost all books.
  • Specialist facilities:
    • Fully-equipped recording studios and media suites support our Digital Media students.
    • Simulated hospital wards and operating theatres, known as "skills labs", help our students on Health courses prepare for the real thing.
