Christ Church has a wealth of research strengths across many different disciplines, from Education and Allied Health, to History and Sports-Related Studies.

The 2008 Research Assessment Exercise| recognised the University as a leading light nationally, and internationally, in seven areas with particular strengths in Education, History and Music.

Academic staff are undertaking innovative and unique research in these fields, attracting national funding and partners for projects with historical, social, and cultural impact.
