Postgraduate Research Association
The Postgraduate Research Association (PGRA) is a society organised by research students, with the full backing of The Graduate School.
The Association's aims are to represent, and further, the interests of research students by promoting social interaction and collective identity with university authorities and other relevant national and regional bodies. All research students are encouraged to participate.
Elected PGRA representatives sit on the Research Policy Sub Committee and are, as a result, able to promote research student issues directly to the Head of The Graduate School.
Representatives for 2011 - 2012 are Miss Asya Draganova and Mr Paul Cherry.
The PGRA also arranges a series of seminars, where research students are invited to present to peers in a safe and relaxed environment.
