The event included a lively interactive talk from QJ, a motivational speaker by profession, currently running a series of events in Kent and London on how to speak confidently in public.
QJ said: “Your image, how you look and sound, is one of your most valuable assets. Knowing how to present yourself when delivering any business message can have a significant impact on your success.”
UCF Director, Chris Price, said: “The evening was a great opportunity for business networking, learning new skills and for our students to talk to local entrepreneurs.”
University Centre Folkestone will be hosting more networking events covering a range of topics. For full details on future events, please contact Jane Seaman on 01227 760600 or email jane.seaman@canterbury.ac.uk
