Partnership in action
Across our University there are many examples of partnership activity making a real and lasting difference to lives.
Here are a few examples where our partnerships are bringing about results:
The Department of Health, Wellbeing and Family is working with the charitable organisation Newborns Vietnam, to advance neonatal care in central Vietnam.
The Faculty of Education is working to support the inclusion of all children in mainstream education in Malawi.
Christ Church works in partnership with Mount Mercy University in Iowa, USA, providing students the opportunity to experience studying abroad.
Leading the project is the Department of English and Language Studies at Christ Church.
In partnership with the South East Coast Ambulance Service, we’ve developed a Paramedic Science degree in response to changes in the profession.
Christ Church together with Kent County Council and CADMHF recently delivered the country's first 'peer broker' training course.
The University received a Gold award for research that has directly influenced the re-inclusion of athletes with learning disabilities into the Paralympic Games.
