Every university in the UK is audited on a regular basis by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA). The University was last audited by the QAA in March 2010 when it received the highest level of approval and was therefore judged to possess rigorous mechanisms for the management of academic standards and the quality of learning opportunities available to students and to be using these effectively and consistently.
