Golden Jubilee
2012 will be a very special year for Canterbury Christ Church University, as we celebrate a milestone in our history - our 50th anniversary.
In 1962 we opened our doors at St Martin’s Priory in Canterbury to just 70 trainee teachers.
Since that day we have grown into a five campus University, with 20,000 students, hundreds of courses, and a strong reputation.
Our values| are as true today as they were 50 years ago, and have helped make Christ Church the vibrant, successful and ambitious University it is today.
During 2012, we hope to celebrate these decades of growth and achievement with you, through an exciting programme of events and activities. Keep an eye on this page for updates on our Golden Jubilee celebrations.
We will be launching our full programme of exciting, celebratory Golden Jubilee events at the start of 2012.
